WHO AM I?

I’m a creative and independent professional with over 15 years of international experience in research and design. I began my career in 2005 as a graphic designer and transitioned into technology in 2008, working as a UI/UX designer and researcher in the fields of User Experience (UX), Interaction Design (IxD), and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). My academic path includes a Bachelor's in Industrial Design (2007), a Master’s in Strategic Design and Communication (2011), and a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on HCI (2021).

I’m a data-driven and ethically grounded researcher with strong experience in mixed methods and design-led projects. I’m also a natural communicator, design advocate, and relationship builder, committed to delivering innovation through participatory processes that integrate user needs, stakeholder expectations, and design opportunities.

My research approach blends quantitative and qualitative methods to uncover user insights, identify business potential, and inform decision-making. I don’t follow rigid formulas—UX research, to me, is about adapting creatively to context, user groups, and product challenges.

As a UX professional, I devote energy to crafting compelling presentations, engaging diverse audiences, and producing clear, actionable reports. I thrive in fast-paced environments with multiple projects and tight deadlines, always maintaining focus and creativity. Looking ahead, my goal is to contribute to the evolution of UX towards inclusive, life-centred design—an approach that prioritises not only human needs (ensuring no one is left behind) but also the well-being of other living beings and the planet. An EU national fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, I enjoy working across cultures and borders to put this vision into practice.
